Materials

  • The terrazzo table top, also known as "semina Veneta" in Italian, is made by carefully arranging pieces of stone and marble of different shapes, colours and dimensions into the mold and then pouring in cement as a binder. We pride ourselves in sourcing leftover, and still very precious and beautiful, stone and marble pieces to make sure they get a second chance and don't go to waste!
The setting process takes up to 35 days, after which the mold is removed and the surface is meticulously sanded, polished, and sealed.

  • The table top sits on a stainless steel support which has been lovingly covered in gold leaf.

  • The table legs are made with locally-sourced leftover oak wood which has been treated, sanded, and stained to the correct finish.

Dimensions

  • Table top: 86cm x 58cm x 3cm

  • Legs: ⌀5cm x 42cm high

  • Total height of the table: 45cm

You should know…

  • Each piece is cast, sanded, polished and sealed by hand and as a result, there might be some slight imperfections and irregularities.

  • Everything we do has sustainability at its core and this is reflected in our choice of materials and production techniques.
